Choose the international service
CatchTable is a restaurant booking and waitlist service published by WADcorp. Its international app and domestic Korean app are separate products, with different catalogues and registration arrangements.
Use the international App Store listing, Google Play listing or international website. Check the publisher before downloading.
Set up your account
The international service advertises registration and booking without a Korean phone number. Follow its current sign-in prompts, choose a language and check the supported payment methods.
Set it up before departure if you expect to book restaurants. A payment card being accepted by the platform does not guarantee every transaction will succeed, so allow time to resolve verification or payment issues.
Read the restaurant's terms
Check the branch, date, time, party size and any menu or age restrictions. A restaurant may require a deposit, with its own rules for refunds, deductions from the bill and cancellation charges.
Read those terms before confirming. Do not assume a deposit is always refunded automatically after dining or that every restaurant allows the same cancellation window.
Confirm that the booking exists
Check My Dining and your confirmation email. Save the restaurant's address and booking details so you can show them without a connection.
If payment fails or the app stops responding, check for an existing reservation and pending charge before retrying. Contact support through the current app or website when the status is unclear.
Understand a remote waitlist
A remote waitlist lets you join a queue where the restaurant supports that feature. It is not the same as a reservation for a fixed time, and you may still need to wait after arriving.
Watch notifications, follow check-in instructions and reach the restaurant within its stated arrival window. Do not join a queue from farther away than you can realistically travel when called.
Use other routes for restaurants outside the catalogue
Not every restaurant appears in the international service, and its listings do not necessarily match the domestic app. Check the restaurant's own website, map listing or contact details for another booking method.
If you cannot find availability, distinguish a fully booked date from a restaurant that does not use the platform. The app is a booking service, not a complete directory of Korean dining.
