The international ticket sites
Follow the event organiser’s authorised ticket link. These sellers offer international booking routes. International routes offer visitor account options; availability and verification still depend on the event.
NOL World — world.nol.com, the site that used to be Global Interpark; the Korean site's own footer links 'Global Interpark' there. English; concerts, musicals, plays, exhibitions, sport, dance, classical, family. For products requiring verification, its published policy verifies a buyer once, by scanning a non-Korean passport through a QR code on your phone, one passport to one account, and sets a ₩8,000 fee for verification-required products — the number most often missed. The Korean NOL Ticket site is being folded into the wider NOL app, so the entry point may keep moving.
Melon Ticket Global — tkglobal.melon.com, from the language switch on Melon Ticket's front page; English, Japanese, Chinese. Sign-up asks only first name, last name, email and password, with the instruction to enter your name as written on your passport. Check the permitted email domains before registering: the email has to be at gmail.com, qq.com, yahoo.co.jp, icloud.com, outlook.com or hotmail.com — a work address is refused at the first screen. Its Korean parent takes only Korean cards, bank transfer, carrier billing and Kakao Pay.
YES24 Global Ticket — ticket.yes24.com/English, from the GLOBAL link on YES24 Ticket's front page, which publishes a detailed visitor booking guide. Its FAQ: a separate account, not your YES24 bookshop one; for selected concerts and musicals, verification by passport photos plus a face photo, to be done one or two days ahead; payment by a card with online-purchase verification (3D Secure) or by PayPal, subject to the timing condition stated in its FAQ; confirm the option at checkout; no China UnionPay cards and no American Express cards issued outside Korea; shipping by DHL, or collection at the venue by the ticket holder in person, with passport and booking confirmation, under the name on the account.
Ticketlink Global — English visitor route. Its official verification notice confirms passport-based verification for products marked Verified Members Only, with an ₩8,000 service fee for those products (fees may vary). Check whether your event is listed on this international route.

Each English site sells a different list from its Korean parent. On one August day the Korean NOL chart led with three Korean musicals while NOL World fronted Dracula, Frozen and The Weeknd. If a show is not on the English site, the English site is not a way to buy it; ask the organiser about an authorised visitor route. Do not assume a ticket bought under someone else’s identity can be collected by you.
Why the Korean sites refuse you
For concerts and musicals the Korean sites do not merely prefer a Korean identity; they require one. NOL Ticket's own notice — NOL is what Interpark Ticket became after Yanolja bought it — says verification must be done before booking, by Korean mobile phone or i-PIN, that it binds to one account, and that since 11 July 2024 it expires after a year. Melon Ticket's booking guide puts identity verification in step one. These identity checks may require records a short-term visitor does not have — “Why do Korean booking apps reject me?”. A VPN or translated page does not satisfy the account’s identity-verification requirement.
Before the on-sale, not during it
- Make the account and finish verification days ahead. Allow time to resolve a rejected document or other verification problem.
- Enter your name as shown on your passport. Put your given and family names in the fields requested by the seller. Collection is tied to it so check the spelling before confirming and read the seller’s correction policy.
- Switch on your card's online-purchase verification with your bank — YES24 requires it, and other sites may also request authentication (“Paying a restaurant deposit with a foreign card”).
- Compare the available delivery and collection options. If collecting at the venue, check the time window and required original documents.
- Screenshot the confirmation and keep the booking number off the phone — “Screenshot your bookings before you need them”.
