T-Luggage provides storage and delivery on selected Seoul and airport routes
T-Luggage is run by Seoul Metro Engineering (서울도시철도엔지니어링), a Seoul Transportation Corporation company, and sits inside six subway stations — Gangnam (exits 9–10), Gimpo Airport (Line 5, B1, international side), Seoul Station (exits 1–2), Myeongdong, a central Seoul shopping district (exits 1, 9, 10), Jamsil (exits 3–4) and Hongik University (Line 2, B1, in the passage to AREX, the airport railroad from Incheon airport into Seoul). Hongik University Station serves Hongdae, the university district around Hongik University. All six listed counters open 09:00–21:00. There is a full English site, and Chinese and Japanese versions too.
T-Luggage’s price list gives separate prices for each route and bag size:
| Size | Airport delivery (Hongdae ↔ Incheon T1/T2) | Gangnam ↔ Gimpo ↔ Hongdae | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | up to 20″ | ₩18,000 | ₩14,000 |
| Medium | 20–23″ | ₩18,000 | ₩14,000 |
| Large | 23–27″ | ₩23,000 | ₩19,000 |
| Extra large | 27″+ | ₩28,000 | ₩24,000 |
The airport run is a scheduled van, not a courier. The booking page states it plainly: the van leaves at 14:30 every day, and anything handed in by 14:00 is delivered by 16:00 the same day. Miss 14:00 and your bag travels tomorrow. The cited schedule covers delivery to Incheon Terminals 1 and 2. Confirm other routes in the booking form rather than applying this timetable to every service.
Check the conditions for your chosen service
Airport-delivery services may require a flight booking. T-Luggage says it outright — 항공편이 없으시면 배송서비스를 이용하실 수 없습니다, no flight, no delivery — and asks for a flight number in the booking form. ZimCarry's AirPass product likewise refuses a booking without a confirmed ticket.
Only where you are actually staying counts. ZimCarry's booking flow states that only the accommodation you are genuinely checked into may be an origin or destination. The good news is that this is not a hotels-only rule: the accommodation directory is full of pensions, guesthouses, Jeju pool villas (풀빌라) and small stays alongside city hotels, and there is an address-search option for places not on it. What will not work is sending a bag to a friend's flat you are not sleeping in.
Some things will be refused. Plastic and paper shopping bags, umbrellas and cardboard boxes are turned away because they tear; so is anything perishable or strongly smelling, anything hazardous, and anything larger than a normal checked-baggage allowance. And once you have paid, a booking cannot be amended.
AirPass — the one that fetches your checked bag for you
AirPass offers a different service from ordinary counter-to-hotel delivery. 에어패스 (AirPass) does not carry a bag you are holding: it collects your checked bag off the carousel at the arrival airport and takes it to your accommodation, so you can continue with your hand luggage after arrival.
It runs on domestic flights only, departing from Gimpo, Gimhae, Daegu, Gwangju or Cheongju, and the operator holds Korea Airports Corporation permission to enter the security screening area to do it. Pricing is much lower than ordinary delivery — ₩15,000 and up for small and medium, ₩20,000 and up for large or a golf bag — because the bag is already travelling.
You must book by 23:59 the day before you fly. Same-day booking is not possible. On the day you photograph the case and its baggage tag, upload three shots through the notification message, then check the bag in normally.
Compare AirPass with the cost and convenience of collecting the bags yourself.
The airports' own counters, and the cheap alternative
At Incheon Terminal 2, the airport's facility directory lists 한진택배 (Hanjin) twice — a 24-hour parcel, storage and packing zone on level 3 west near gate 1 (032-743-5835), and a level 1 desk at the west end near gate 1, 07:00–21:00, with coat-room collection round the clock (032-743-5834). At Terminal 1 the equivalent listing shows the two ZimCarry desks plus a post office counter on level 2, 09:00–18:00. Hanjin quotes its suitcase prices only at the counter, so treat it as a walk-up option rather than something to plan around.
If you only need the bags gone for a day, store them instead. ZimCarry's desks charge by four-hour block:
| 4 hours | each extra hour | daily maximum | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Case, S (≤55 cm) | ₩5,000 | ₩1,000 | ₩10,000 |
| Case, M (56–70 cm) | ₩8,000 | ₩2,000 | ₩18,000 |
| Case, L (71 cm+) | ₩10,000 | ₩2,000 | ₩20,000 |
| Bag, S / M / L | ₩3,000 / ₩5,000 / ₩8,000 | ₩1,000–₩2,000 | ₩8,000 / ₩10,000 / ₩18,000 |
| Coat | — | — | ₩3,000 per garment, ₩10,000 for four |
T-Luggage is cheaper still — ₩3,000 to ₩8,000 for four hours by size, ₩6,000 to ₩15,000 for a full 24 hours, and ₩4,000 to ₩9,000 for each further day. Station lockers are another option, but available sizes and prices vary. Busy stations such as Seoul Station and Hongik University may have no suitable locker when you arrive.
Choose a service that fits your journey
- For an Incheon arrival and a Seoul hotel, confirm an airport-to-accommodation service and its handover deadline. T-Luggage’s cited station-to-airport schedule is for the opposite direction.
- For an afternoon arrival, check whether same-day delivery is still available. Otherwise take the bags with you or arrange storage.
- If checking out before an evening flight, compare storage with a confirmed airport-delivery service and its collection time.
- For a domestic flight, check whether AirPass serves the route and book by its deadline.
- For travel between cities by train, check the available station-to-station luggage service. KTX is Korea’s high-speed train service; a KTX ticket does not itself include luggage delivery.
